Once there was a girl named Cece
she was an ordinary kid until she got sick and lost her hearing. One day Cece
saw on t.v. a girl that called the other girl deafo at fist she laughs then she
thinks I am el deafo. After that she
went to a hard of hearing school where she learned to read people’s lips. Then she moved and went to a new elementary
school. She had a very hard time making
friends. At one point she has a friend
named Laura who bosses her around. At
this school her teacher wears a microphone and she can hear her teacher were
ever she goes. Cece meets a girl named
Martha after a while Cece gets hurt and Martha stops playing with Cece. She
likes a boy named Mike. Then the gym
teacher drops the microphone and it breaks so they have to wait until they get
a new one. Cece cannot hear without the
microphone. Next, she finds out that Mike also likes her. In the
end Martha realized that it wasn’t her fault that Cece got hurt and they go
back to being friends again. She learned that even though she is different

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
The Best Christmas
Pageant Ever
The Herdmens are the worst kids in
town. They’re also a family of six
kids. One time they burned down the
shoemakers shop. They somehow managed to
get in the church. Then they got in the Christmas
pageant playing parts from the angel of the lord to wise men. There was a girl that was very unhappy
because she wanted to be Mary and one of the Herdmens was already going to be
Mary. The Herdmens didn’t like the presents the wise men brought. The new Herdmen wise men brought a ham
instead of all the gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The two Herdmens that were Mary and Joseph
came in late and the Mary burped the baby Jesus. Everyone said it was the best Christmas
pageant ever.

The Prairie Thief
The Prairie Thief by Melissa Wiley
Louisa’s father was sent to jail for something he did not
do. When Louisa was three, her mother
died. After her father went to jail the
Smirches took Louisa in. Another mouth
to feed said Mrs. Smirch as she stared at Louisa ungratefully. Louisa was sad
because she had to sleep on itchy straw at night. Louisa and Mrs. Smirch’s niece Jessamine found
a hole in Hazel Grove. They found a little man that was called a brownie in Hazel
Grove. He told her that he was the one
who stole everything and not her father. The brownie summoned an elk that took
her to town. When she got there she went straight to the jailhouse and saw her
dad since she was there she went to his trial. Then she met the judge who showed
her his brownie, her name was Mrs. Mack. His brownie is married to Louisa’s
brownie Mr. O’Gorsebush. Since she knew
that her little brownie was the one who stole everything she told a crow to tie
the sheriff’s keys to the back of Mrs. Smirches bonnet so they would think she
was guilty. The judge decided that Louisa’s father was
innocent so he got to go home.
I recommend this book because it is a very good book.
